Why do most people flake before meeting?
Its a good question, anyone who os experienced on here has had it happen. You invest time and/or money into a meet only have a no show. What do you think is the most common reason?

 Meeting someone for “illicit” sex, while intriguing, is still a scary proposition. How it works out depends on not just you but, also, the other party. You have no clue what little thing might throw the other person off, plus you do have to worry about your own performance even before the “date” has even started.

 Depends on the person. Some never intend to meet. Others caught cheating or could be. If never did it before they chickened out. The person could be there but doesn't like the looks of who meeting. Real emergency comes up.

If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

 From what I've read here many people who have been flaked upon depended on texting to make arrangements. Texting, besides being an awful way of "communicating", does not allow for the parties involved to get a feel (like women's intuition) for the situation.

I always talk to whomever I'm meeting to get a sense of their sincerity and comfort in meeting. Only 1 flake-ish thing has happened. She got pulled over by the PD and they held her for some reason I now don't recall. We ended up meeting a few days later.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

 I voted for the cheaters with significant others. Something ruined the timing or they had a moment of clarity and guilt started to settle in.
